In 2008, after a 15 year absence the Penclawdd regatta returned. Now named Festival of the Tides, it has become an annual event ever since.
The event gives us an excellent chance to show all the people of Penclawdd and the surrounding area what we do and why we are here.
Festival of the Tides brings the community together, there is something for all ages from the stage and beer tent, to the fairground, even a craft tent where many local people sell their handmade products. Local produce on sale can be enjoyed by anyone with an appetite for fresh local ingredients. The raft race is a must for all budding sailors.
We hope that the Fifth Festival of the Tides will be bigger
and better than ever and you can make that happen.
