October 17th 2010 - Welsh Flounder Cup 2010

In aid of Loughor Inshore Rescue

Sponsorship of the 2010 Welsh Flounder Cup is now complete, although further donations are always welcome. All of the proceeds will go to maintaining the Lifeboat, this being the major fundraising event of our year.

This years comp is expected to offer over £4000 in prizes when the pool is added in. The guaranteed total is standing at £3.850.

The Gateway Holiday Park has also offered free eats for all at the weigh in.

The competition is open to all; ladies, gents, children, novice and professional anglers. Although it is a Welsh event all nationalities are welcome.

Why not make a weekend of it. The Gateway Holiday Park has facilities for caravans, camper vans and tents. There are also caravans for hire. The club house offers free entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays.
